Admissions are open throughout the academic year, subject to the availability of seats. Applications are invited for the following sections:

Parents are encouraged to visit the school campus, meet our academic team, and experience our learning environment before completing the admission process.

Admission Procedure

The admission process at Lucentia School System is designed to ensure that every child is placed in the most appropriate class according to age, academic ability, and developmental readiness.

The admission procedure is as follows:

Obtain and complete the school’s Admission Form.

Submit the completed form along with all required documents.

The child will appear for an age-appropriate admission assessment or entry test. Applicants must obtain 70% or above in the admission assessment to qualify for admission.

Preschool applicants will participate in an informal observation session to assess their communication, social interaction, and school readiness.

Parents may be invited for a brief meeting with the school administration. Successful applicants will receive an Admission Offer Letter.

Admission will be confirmed after payment of the admission fee and completion of all admission formalities.

The school reserves the right to determine the most appropriate class placement based on the student’s age, previous academic record, and performance in the admission assessment.

Withdrawal Policy

Parents wishing to withdraw their child from Lucentia School System are requested to inform the school in writing.

 The following regulations apply: 

A written application for withdrawal must be submitted to the Principal at least one month in advance.

All outstanding school dues must be cleared before the School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate is issued.

School property, including library books, textbooks, identity cards, or any other issued materials, must be returned before clearance.

Admission fees and other non-refundable charges will not be refunded.

Students leaving during the academic session may be required to pay fees according to the school’s fee policy.

The school reserves the right to withhold academic records until all financial obligations have been fulfilled.

We encourage parents to discuss any concerns with the school administration before making the decision to withdraw a student.

Curriculum

Lucentia School System provides a balanced, progressive, and student-centred curriculum that equips learners with the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes required for success in higher education and modern society.

Little Lamps Preschool

Our preschool programme follows an activity-based and play-centred approach that develops children’s cognitive, language, physical, emotional, and social skills. Through storytelling, phonics, numeracy activities, creative arts, music, movement, sensory play, and guided exploration, children develop confidence and a lifelong love for learning.

Primary Section (Grades 1–5)

The primary curriculum strengthens literacy, numeracy, scientific understanding, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. Students are encouraged to become independent learners through practical activities, collaborative learning, digital resources, and project-based experiences.

Middle Section (Grades 6–8)

The middle years prepare students for higher academic challenges by promoting analytical thinking, research skills, leadership, teamwork, and effective communication. Greater emphasis is placed on conceptual understanding, practical application, and personal responsibility.

Pre-O Level and O Level

Our Pre-O Level and O Level programmes prepare students for internationally recognised qualifications through a rigorous academic curriculum. Students are guided by experienced teachers who encourage independent learning, problem-solving, research, and examination confidence while developing the skills needed for higher education and future careers.

Across all sections, we integrate modern teaching methodologies, digital learning, audio-visual resources, STEM activities, project-based learning, co-curricular programmes, and character education to ensure the holistic development of every child.
